Pop-up retail, also known as pop-up shop or flash retailing, is the new trend of opening a sales space as a temporary venue. These shops, while small and temporary, can build up interest by consumer exposure. Pop-up retail allows a company to create a unique environment that engages their customers, as well as generates a feeling of relevance and interactivity.
PDX Pop-Up shop project is supported by the Portland Business Alliance, Portland Development Commission, Downtown Retail Advocate, Downtown Marketing Initiative and the city. The downtown retail advocate has reported pedestrian traffic as being strong through the holiday season. The corner of Southwest Sixth Avenue and Morrison Street is still the most heavily trafficked downtown corner.
Perfect for us!
